The product launch graphics checklist nobody sends you
Every graphic you actually need for a product launch — from the teaser to the follow-up — and how to produce all of them without losing a week.
By The Graphicly team
Every product launch ends up needing more graphics than anyone planned for. Here is the full list, in the order you will need them, so you can prep once instead of scrambling for a launch banner an hour before you ship.
Two weeks out — the teaser
- One teaser social post that hints without spoiling.
- One hero image for a coming-soon landing page.
- One LinkedIn banner for the team to swap in for the week.
One week out — the reveal build-up
- Three social posts unpacking what the new thing does.
- One short carousel with the story behind the launch.
- One email header for the announcement newsletter.
Launch day
- Hero announcement post for every channel — sized correctly for each.
- A product Hunt or launch-directory image at the exact required dimensions.
- Founder headshot cards for a personal-voice thread.
- Press-kit visuals in PNG and PDF for anyone writing about the launch.
Launch week — the sustain
- Customer quote cards for the first testimonials.
- Feature-spotlight posts for each headline capability.
- A recap carousel at end of week for anyone who missed it.
One month later — the compounding
This is where most launches lose momentum. Design one 'thirty days in' recap, one metrics graphic, and one testimonial round-up. These extend the launch by weeks for almost no incremental work.
How to actually get all this done
Design three master templates — announcement, quote card, feature spotlight — before launch week starts. Then use Bulk Mode to fill them with content on the day. The alternative is designing thirty graphics by hand at midnight, and nobody wants that.
The one thing to remember
A launch is not a moment, it is a month. The teams that treat it that way ship twice the content with half the stress — and get twice the return on the work they already put into the product.
