Designing

Creating designs

How to start from a blank canvas, a template, or Bulk Mode.

Starting points

Every new design starts from the same New design flow. Pick a canvas size first — sizes are grouped by use case (social, print, web) with a Custom Size option for anything else.

  • Blank canvas — one empty slide, ideal when you want the AI to compose from scratch.
  • Template — clones an existing layout as version 1 of a fresh design; you own the copy and can edit freely.
  • Bulk Mode — starts with three empty slides that share a single layout. See the Bulk Mode guide.

Naming and organizing

You can rename a design at any time from the design's title bar or from the Designs list. Move designs into folders to keep long lists manageable — folders are optional and single-level (no nesting).

Duplicating

From the Designs list, use Duplicate to create an independent copy with its own history. Titles auto-serialize (for example, 'Launch Poster (Copy)') and you can override the title and description at the moment of duplication.

Preview before editing

Clicking a design opens a Preview panel with quick actions — Edit, Duplicate, Rename, Move, and Save as Template — so you can review a design without loading the full editor.
